MARMO
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026. MARMO is made by Oleavine Brands LLC (“we”).
What the app collects
Your account. Your Apple sign-in identifier, the email address Apple shares with us (which can be a private relay address), your name if you share it, and your profile: sex, height, birth year, training experience and units.
Scan photos. A scan is three photos: front, side and back. They are uploaded to our servers and stored privately with that scan, so your body model can be reprocessed when our methods improve. We don’t share them or use them for advertising.
Your body model and plan. Measurements estimated from your photos size your 3D body model and your plan. Tape measurements you type are stored with the scan they belong to. We also store your goals, plans, weigh-ins, and workout and food logs.
Meal photos. A meal photo is analysed by an AI service (Anthropic) to estimate its calories and macros, and isn’t stored. Only the entry you confirm is saved.
Usage analytics. We record how the app is used, such as starting a scan or a free trial, linked to your account, using PostHog. Photos and body data are never part of these events. You can turn this off in the app under You > Privacy.
What marmo.fit collects
When you take the quiz we store your answers (such as sex, age, height, weight and goal), the email address you give us, your IP address and browser type, and the campaign that brought you here. We use them to show your result, send you your plan and account emails, and link a purchase to your app account.
marmo.fit uses Meta’s pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure our ads. Meta receives events such as completing the quiz or starting a trial, along with its own cookies, your IP address and browser type, and a one-way hashed version of your email address. Meta’s use of this data is covered by Meta’s privacy policy. You can control ad personalisation in your Meta account settings.
Payments
Subscribe in the app and Apple processes the payment; subscribe on marmo.fit and Stripe does. RevenueCat, the service that manages subscriptions for us, tells us whether yours is active. We never see your full card details.
Who processes data for us
- Railway: hosting for our servers and database (United States).
- Apple, Stripe and RevenueCat: payments and subscription status.
- Anthropic: meal photo estimates and coach messages.
- PostHog: usage analytics.
- Meta: ad measurement on marmo.fit.
We don’t sell your personal information.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while you have an account. In the app, You > Account > Export my data downloads everything we store, and Delete account removes your account, photos, body models, logs and any quiz answers linked to it from our servers immediately and permanently. To delete quiz answers from marmo.fit that aren’t linked to an account, email us.
Children
MARMO is for people 16 and older. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll answer within 30 days.
